Maryasque Fendley is an author, musician and artist. Maryasque grew up in Rochester, NY experiencing the wonders of the arts and sharing her experiences with young children. While working as a pre-school teacher, Maryasque experienced the loss of a colleague, friend and fellow teacher. The staff struggled with how to explain the death of the beloved teacher to the children and were unable to identify appropriate resources to share with the children. This gave Maryasque the idea to write a guide to help children process such losses. Maryasque currently resides in New York City which further allows her to express her creativity and explore all avenues of the arts.
